Harrisburg softball cruises past Zeigler-Royalton

Madeline Rider hit her first home run of the season and Karsyn Davis drove in a team-high four runs in a 18-3 victory for the Harrisburg softball team over Zeigler-Royalton Wednesday at home.<br />Rider went 2-for-2 at the plate with a pair of RBI, while Davis was 2-for-3 as the Bulldogs improved to 12-6 overall on the season.<br />McKenzie Sullivan, Lexi Williams, and Hannah Reid all had two hits. Sullivan finished with two RBI and Williams had one.<br />Abby Dalton, Essence Sanders, Alli Ferrell, Gillian Jones, Mya King and Claire McDermott all had one hit on the day as Dalton and Jones both finished with a pair of RBI, while Ferrell and McDermott both had one RBI.<br />Ferrell (9-5) picked up the win in the circle as the Harrisburg defense was flawless, not committing an error on the day.
