Bulldogs shut out Herrin on soccer field

The Harrisburg High School girls' soccer team got off on the right foot, beating Herrin 5-0 to start the season Thursday on the road.<br />Devin Butler had a hat trick for the Bulldogs, scoring three goals, while Lauren McDaniels scored the other two goals.<br />Lexi Sirtak pitched the shutout in the net, finishing the day with 12 saves for Harrisburg.<br />The Bulldogs return to action Tuesday at Marion.
