Galatia got a pair of eight-point performances from Mallory Mays and Kennedy Harris, while Kelsi Watson chipped in with six points and Madison Murphy finished with four points.

For Denise Clayton, head coach for Galatia, knowing she held Chubb to 22 seemed like a victory in itself, seeing as how the sharp shooting juniors lit up the Bearcats a season ago for 43, 36 and 40 points.

Galatia is now 2-5 overall and will play next at Woodlawn (tonight) Wednesday. Gallatin County returns to the hardwood Friday at Pope County.
