Prep Hoops: Gallatin County gets by Tigers

In 25 games this season, Seth Ramsey has led Gallatin County in scoring.

Game 26 wasn't much different, even though the junior guard came up a little lame after turning an ankle in the first quarter against Thompsonville Tuesday night.

The end result was 11 points for Ramsey and a 32-28 win for Gallatin County, who are now 13-13 on the season.

Both teams struggled out of the gate, playing to a 3-3 first quarter tie and both tacked on 11 points in the second quarter to go into the locker room tied at 14.

Gallatin County picked things up a little more in the second half, outscoring Thompsonville 11-9 in the third quarter to take a 25-23 lead and then held on for the win by outscoring their GEC opponent 7-5 in the final eight minutes.

Following Ramsey's 11 points, Audie Goebel got 10 and Robbie Prince netted nine. Braden Brazier tacked on two points in the win.
