Prep Hoops: Bulldogs overcome second half deficit to win at CWCIT
Harrisburg overcame a 15-point second half deficit to win 72-68 over Mt. Vernon, Ind., on the final day of the Carmi-White County Invitational Tournament.
With the win, Harrisburg improved to 13-8 and won their thrid straight game of the week after falling to Mt. Carmel on Monday. That loss was the sixth straight for the Bulldogs.
Isaiah Saulsberry had a team-high 25 points for Harrisburg as Blake Drue (18) and Anfernee Houston (11) also finsihed in double figures.
Patrick Bittle banked in six points, while Jordan Gould and Noah Ferrell each finished with four points, while Hunter Smith and Austin Hefner had two points a piece.
Harrisburg returns to action Friday on the road at West Frankfort.
