- After hearing from Harrisburg residents the city is dropping cases involving violent behavior in liquor establishments, City Attorney Todd Bittle said the city is starting to turn more cases over to the Saline County State's Attorney's office. Filed as state charges rather than city ordinance violations results in jail time and possible incarceration in Illinois Department of Corrections while the city is only able to level a monetary fine.
