- Safety of Harrisburg schools debated
- Harrisburg Police Sgt. Whipper Johnson - speaking as a taxpayer, not on behalf of the police department - tells the Harrisburg Board of Education his concerns regarding safety in the schools. Police have been working in the schools this week due to anxiety over the Sandy Hood Elementary School massacre. Superintendent Dennis Smith responds to Johnson saying the staff has been trained for such scenarios.
