- Eldorado Fire Chief addresses County Board on rural fire calls
- Eldorado Fire Chief Mike McKinnies addresses the Saline County Board at a Wednesday special meeting. The City of Harrisburg has set a date of July 1, 2013, for ceasing to make calls outside the city limits except for mutual aid calls to departments operating within their own corporate limits. McKinnies said one aspect of that decision could put the department's membership in the Southern Illinois Coal Belt Association in jeopardy.
