Jeff Biggers talks Eagle Creek and strip mining

Author Jeff Biggers spoke to a Harrisburg District Library crowd Sunday afternoon about his book "Reckoning at Eagle Creek: The Legacy of Coal in the Heartland." In the book Biggers uses the loss of his family's Eagle Creek farm to the strip mining companies as an example of the unanticipated effects of the coal industry.
