Obituary: Jack Dean Hamilton

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Jack Dean Hamilton, 51, of Galatia, passed away at 4:08 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20, 2012, at Carrier Mills Nursing and Rehab.

Jack was born in Alton on Feb. 16, 1960, a son of Rosemary (Pittman) Hamilton of Galatia and the late Gerald L. Hamilton.

In addition to his mother, Jack is survived by a daughter, April Dawn Hamilton of Tennessee; a son, Timothy Louis Hamilton of Harrisburg; two brothers, Gerald Lee Hamilton Jr. of Galatia and Jeffery Leonard Hamilton of Cahokia; and six grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held at Galatia First Baptist Church at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012, with the Rev. Ed Nenonen officiating.

The family requests no flowers and memorial contributions be made to Huntington's Disease Society of America HDSA Center of Excellence at Rush University Medical Center 1725 W. Harrison St., Suite 755 Chicago, Ill. 60612.
