Oma L. Rhine, 79, of 1621 Roosevelt Ave., Eldorado, died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2008, at Evansville, Ind.
Services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2008, at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado with the Rev. Walter Baker and Stephen Nyberg officiating. Burial will be in Rhine Cemetery. Visitation is 11 a.m. to service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
She was born May 13, 1929, in Eldorado to Leland and Hallie (Turner) Grisham. On June 2, 1957, she married Gene Rhine, who survives in Eldorado.
She was a member of Rhine Church from the age of 14 until 1962, then First United Presbyterian Church. She belonged to the Eldorado Garden Study Club, Better Homes Home Extension and the Eldorado Jr. Women's Club.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Clint (Lisa) Rhine of Raleigh; a daughter, Gena (Roger) Genet of Waynesville, N.C.; two grandchildren, Rachel (Jim) Roby and Seth Vaughn; a great-grandchild, Lelia Roby; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray Grisham and Jim Grisham.
