Earl Dewayne Milligan of Harrisburg

Earl Dewayne Milligan, age 63, of Harrisburg, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2019 at his residence in Harrisburg, Illinois.

Earl was born on July 22, 1956, in Harrisburg, to Bertis Lodean and Ruby Katheryn (Steinsultz) Milligan. Earl was a carpenter and a lover of the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and other outdoor activities.

Earl is survived by three children: son Wayne Milligan of Raleigh, daughter Holly Milligan of Muddy, and daughter Ashley Nicole of Arkansas; his mother, Ruby Milligan; grandchildren Mason Milligan and Raela Milligan of Raleigh, Heather (Alex) Palmer of Harrisburg and Damian of Arkansas; great-grandchild Easton Palmer of Harrisburg; brother, David (Sharon) Milligan of Harrisburg; sister Debbie (Ron) Russell of Herod; sister, Darlene Milligan of Harrisburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Earl was preceded in death by his father, Bertis Lodean Milligan.

A memorial service will begin at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 16, 2019 at the Harrisburg Elks. The Rev. Kathy Dunn will officiate.
