Phyllis A. Robinson Holland of Carrier Mills

Phyllis A. Robinson Holland, age 80, resident of Carrier Mills, passed away peacefully at 11:35 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at the home of her daughter in rural Harrisburg.

She was born on April 25, 1938 in Saline County to the late John "Bud" Pearson and Easter (Simpson) Pearson.

Phyllis married Gerald Robinson on March 16, 1956 and he preceded her in death on Oct. 20, 1986. She later married Linden Holland and he also preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Carrier Mills First United Methodist Church, past member of the Comfort Rebekah Lodge in Carrier Mills, and a member of the Carrier Mills American Legion Post 364 Ladies Auxillary.

Survivors include her daughter, Cindy (Billy D.) Reeder of Harrisburg; her son, John "Buddy" (Sharon) Robinson of McLeansboro; a sister, Margaret "Peggy" (James) Gibbons of Carrier Mills; and many extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, a daughter, Geral Ann Escue, and her brother, Ronald Pearson.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2019 at the Absher-Nicholson Funeral Home in Carrier Mills with the Rev. Todd Krost officiating.

Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. on Sunday until the time of service at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
