Mary Anne Alexander of Harrisburg

Mary Anne Alexander, age 80, and a resident of Harrisburg, passed away at 11:28 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019 in the Harrisburg Medical Center.

She was born Jan. 1, 1939, in Harrisburg, to the late Clint and Lillian (Carrier) Endsley. On March 3, 1961, she married Thomas Alden Alexander and he preceded her in death on Nov. 21, 2016.

Anne was a TB nurse of Saline County for more than 35 years and was a member of First Church of God.

She is survived by a daughter, Karen (Blake) McConnell of Harrisburg; a son, Steve (Pam) Alexander of Murray, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Allie (Dustin) Alsbrooks of Waverly, Kentucky, Braden and Paige McConnell of Harrisburg, and Dylan and Emma Alexander of Murray, Kentucky; two great-granddaughters, Ellery and Lilly Alsbrooks of Waverly, Kentucky; two sisters, Elaine Myers of Harrisburg and Katie Poulos of Dongola; along with several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, Anne was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Rachel Anne Alexander, and a sister, Sally Endsley, in infancy.

Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2019 at First Church of God with the Rev. Dan Masters officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg.

Visitation will be held at 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2019 at First Church of God.
