Jack T. Link of Chester

Jack T. Link, 74, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 8:18 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at his home in Chester, Illinois.

He was born to Harold J. and Ina D. (nee Straight) Link on May 27, 1944 in Chester. Jack married Sandy Renner on March 13, 1965 in Camdenton, Missouri. She preceded him in death on Nov. 13, 2013.

He was a certified public accountant. Jack was of the Catholic faith, a member of the Eagles Club Aerie #3252 and Chester Memorial Hospital Board, where he had served as treasurer.

Survivors include two children, Jackie (Jess) Cushman of Chester and Derek (Rachel) Link of Medina, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Link Cushman, Jakob Cushman, Mason Cain and Emma Link; four brothers, Ronald Link, Dale (Marsha) Link, Jay (Michelle) Link and Dean (Bitzie) Link; five sisters, Bonita Horn, Darla (Larry) Wilson, Janice (Charles) Cole, Leta (Rich) Heuman and Susan (Mark) Goetting; mother-in-law Mae Renner; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Sandy Link.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 22, at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, 839 Lehmen Drive, Chester, with Father Larry Lemay officiating. Interment will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Chester.

Visitation is from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Chester.

Memorials may be made to the Chester Food Pantry (Bob Koenegstein) or Chester High School boys basketball program.
