John B. Frost of Harrisburg

John B. Frost, 76, of Harrisburg, passed away May 10, 2018 at the Linda White Hospice Center in Evansville, Indiana.

John was born on May 10, 1942 to the late Clyde and Bertha (McIntosh) Frost. John was a farmer, but he also worked at Sahara Coal mines, Becks Drugs and was a master woodworker, building high-end furniture, clocks, cabinets and stairways in many homes of friends and family. He was baptized as a child in Oblong. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

John was married to the former Vicki Kasiar for 54 years and she survives.

He is also survived by his children: sons Victor (the late Ann) Frost of Eldorado, and William "Bill" (Kim) Frost of Pittsburg; daughter Diane (Barry) McDermott of Harrisburg; son-in-law Eric (the late Rita Frost) Campbell of Springfield, Tennessee; grandchildren Jonathan (Megan) Frost, Emily Frost, Courtney Frost, Seth Frost, Blaine Frost, Claire McDermott, Katherine Campbell, Carson Frost and Evan McDermott; and great-grandchildren Lincoln Frost and Colton Frost.

He is also survived by a brother, Kenneth Leon Frost of Florida, a sister, Betty O'Brien of Indiana, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for John will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 18, 2018 at the Watson Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Weaver and Dennis Robison officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home on Friday.

Memorials may be made in his memory to the First Christian Church Prayer Band Blanket Ministry. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
