Laura Ruth Braden of Junction

JUNCTION - Laura Ruth Braden, 58, passed away Monday, Nov. 20, 2017, at her residence.

She was born March 10, 1959, in Harrisburg to Wendell and Shirley (Stafford) Barger.

Laura loved being a Nana to her many grandchildren; painting, Elvis, swimming and laughing. She was very spiritual, she never met a stranger and loved to help others.

Survivors include her husband, Bob Braden; two sons, Scotty (Michele Valadez) Braden and Wayne (Liz) Braden; two daughters, Becky (Zachary) Quertermous and Laura (David) Castellano; three brothers, Linnie Barger, Claude David (Twilight) Barger and Stephen (Vicki) Barger; two sisters, Clara (Claude) Gordon and Aline Thomas; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and friend, Mary Cappeheart.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22, in Aly Funeral Home in Eddyville with Pastor Chuck DePriest officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Delwood. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
