Sarah Lynn Horton of Carrier Mills

CARRIER MILLS - Sarah Lynn Horton, 35, died July 5, 2017, near Carrier Mills as a result of a car accident.

A memorial prayer service conducted by Ray Wallace will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, in Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. Family burial in Walnut Grove Cemetery will be at a later date. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Sarah was born Nov. 2, 1981, in Harrisburg to Robert Horton and Kathleen (Parish) Lewis.

She worked as a waitress for many years and was always known as a free spirit.

Survivors include her mother, Kathleen Lewis of Carrier Mills; father, Bob Horton of Marion; daughter, Shelby Nielsen of Carrier Mills; son, Ethan Nielsen of Carrier Mills; stepfather, Steve Lewis of Carrier Mills; sister, Katie (Zach) Sanderson of Stonefort; two grandmothers, Shirley Tison and Emma Horton, both of Harrisburg; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bob Horton, Bob Parish and Colleen Parish.
