Dale Lee Bradley, formerly of Whittington

WHITTINGTON – Dale Lee Bradley, 78, of Vandalia, formerly of Whittington, passed away Thursday evening, April 20, 2017, in Helia HealthCare in Greenville.

He was born April 11, 1939, in Whittington, the son of Elza and Thelma (Winn) Bradley. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from Jan. 19, 1959, to Jan. 18, 1965.

Mr. Bradley formerly served as vice president of Benton Community Bank and later worked for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.

Survivors include two sons, David Lee Bradley and wife Gail of Temecula, California, and Steven Lee Bradley and wife Lisa of Vandalia; seven grandchildren, Jeffery Bradley, Robert Bradley and Blake Gross, all of Vandalia, and Dillon Bradley, Luke Bradley, Justus Bradley and Lea Bradley, all of California; sister, Joan Bird of Michigan; and special friend, Barbara Fitzpatrick of Benton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Dick and Wid Bradley.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 23, in Johnston Funeral Home in Ina with the Rev. Mark Minor officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Shiloh Cemetery in Whittington. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
