Connie L. Wolfe, formerly of Harrisburg

HARRISBURG – Connie L. Wolfe, 68, formerly of Harrisburg and Whiting, Indiana, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017, at her home in Boonville, Indiana, surrounded by family and friends.

Connie was born Jan. 24, 1949, to the late Wesley and Clara Clark.

She worked at Whiting Nursing Home for 16 years, later serving as a dialysis technician.

Connie devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver to family, including raising her great-niece, Jessica Midkiff Thorpe (Cory). She thought of her as a daughter.

Survivors include three brothers, Chester Clark (Kathy) of Whiting, Indiana, Cleo Clark (Linda) of Lake Station, Indiana, and Larry Clark (Gail) of Vincennes, Indiana; lifelong friend and family member, Patti Bailey and her children, Angela Kralj (Edward) of Santa Claus, Indiana, and Jacob Iddings of Bloomington; and many nieces and nephews.

She was Aunt Nonnie to all who loved her and Maw Maw to Noah and Cylus Thorpe.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles Clark and Carl Clark; sister, Charlene Midkiff (Bobby); sister-in-law, Debbie Clark; niece, Debbie Lynn Burden; and nephew, David W. Midkiff.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, March 31, in Koehler Funeral Home in Boonville, Indiana, followed by graveside services at noon in Elmwood Cemetery in Equality. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 30, and 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
