Raymond Johnson

<span>HARRISBURG - Raymond N. Johnson, 84, passed away Friday, Dec. 9, 2016, in Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.</span>

<span>Raymond was born Aug. 27, 1932, in Harrisburg, the son of Ray and Velma Cole Johnson. He was married to Olive Hardin Johnson, and she survives.</span>

<span>He was a U.S. Navy veteran and member of the Apostolic Church on East Walnut Street in Harrisburg </span>

<span>Raymond was a contractor and also the founder and CEO of Interstate Landscaping and RNJ Inc.</span>

<span>He was a member of the Jolly Boys and one of the original founders and first president of the Second Team.</span>

<span>Survivors include his wife, Olive; two daughters, Rene' Johnson of Washington, D.C., and Donna Johnson of Atlanta; one granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren.</span>

<span>He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Alfred Johnson.</span>

<span>Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 16, in J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home in Harrisburg with the Rev. Ron Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, at the funeral home.</span>
