The old building, which used to be the home of Field's Five and Dime, collapsed about 11:30 a.m. Thursday. There were no injuries.

The building was adjacent to Angel Scent florists.

Also on the agenda is a building at the intersection of U.S. Route 45 and Main Street owned by Fred Hutson. Village officials have been worried about the dilapidated state of the building for several months.
