Daffodils sprouting in Mountain Township

While the weekend's snow melted significantly with Sunday's sun, another round of snowfall -- up to 4 inches -- is in the forecast for this afternoon and evening.

Still, daffodils were poking up in Mountain Township Wednesday, an annual reminder warmer days are ahead. The sprouting daffodils appear a bit brown at the tips as though they may have a bit too eager and have been nipped by the cold.
