Obituary: Aliene S. Fowler

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Aliene S. Fowler, 82, of Eldorado passed away at 10:25 a.m. Sunday, July 31, 2011, at Harrisburg Medical Center.

Aliene was born in Eldorado on March 19, 1929, a daughter of the late Marie (Hinkle) and John Henry Sullivan.

She was a member of Eldorado First Baptist Church.

She was a homemaker.

She was the wife of Wilbur Fowler, who survives.

Aliene is survived by two daughters, Brenda (Jim) Cook of Camarillo, Calif., and Marlene Febuary of Eldorado; a son, Dale (Jill) Fowler of Harrisburg; two sisters, Norma Jean (George) Mahaffey, of Eldorado and Rosalie Hickey of Florida; several grandchildren, Carmen (David) Lusk of Camarillo, Calif., Natalie (Aaron) Andrews of Haubstadt, Ind., Angela (Jeremy) Hathaway of Marion, Hannah Fowler of Harrisburg and Benjamin Fowler of Harrisburg; and four great-grandchildren, Jacob Lusk of Camarillo, Calif., Olivia Lusk of Camarillo, Calif., Kayden Andrews of Haubstadt, Ind., and Hallie Hathaway of Marion.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Vernon Sullivan; and two sisters, Pauline Sullivan and Shirley McRoy.

Funeral service will be held at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2011, with the Rev. Randy Plunkett officiating. Burial will follow in Lindale Cemetery.

Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2011, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Youth Fund and will be accepted at the funeral home.
