Donna Jean Feuquay, 70, of Carrier Mills, passed away 2:22 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012, in Herrin Hospital.
She was born March 27, 1941, in Marion, the daughter of Harlan Purnell and Helen Ruth Darnell Reed. She was a retired licensed practical nurse, having worked for Harrisburg Medical Center and later retiring from Shawnee Correctional Center. She was the widow of Martin Feuquay, who preceded her in death on Jan. 12, 2011.
Survivors include one son, James Edmond Pritchett of Colorado Springs, Colo.; three daughters, Rebecca J. Mitchell of Carrier Mills, Deborah Dawn and Chris Gulley of Harrisburg and Mesha Fox of Harrisburg; two brothers, Joe and Linda Reed of Cave-In-Rock and Robert and Pat Purnell of Marion; two sisters, Linda and James Murphy of Stonefort and Jessie and Greg Westfall of Carrier Mills; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harlan Purnell and Helen Ruth Reed; stepfather, Joseph Reed Sr.; daughter, Ruth Elizabeth Pritchett; and sister, Phyllis Ann Purnell.
The body has been cremated and private family graveside services will follow at a later date. The J. M. Weirauch Funeral Home in Harrisburg is in charge of arrangements.
