The wife and son of Gallatin County Sheriff Raymond Martin have posted bond.
Kristina Martin's bond was reduced to $500,000, or 10 percent cash, after a hearing Tuesday.
Cody Martin's bond was also reduced, to $100,000, or 10 percent cash.
Kristina Martin is not allowed to have any contact, either directly or indirectly, with Jeremy Potts or David Woods, witnesses in a federal case against Sheriff Raymond Martin, according to the conditions of her bond. She also is required to live at her mother's Shawneetown residence.
The Martins are accused of conspiring to hire two men to kill Potts and Wood before the sheriff's upcoming federal trial on charges of drug-trafficking.
Case management conferences are set 1 p.m. Feb. 24 for Cody and Kristina Martin. A preliminary hearing is set for 8:30 a.m. March 2 for Raymond Martin, who had not hired a lawyer by the time of his scheduled preliminary hearing on Tuesday.
