Man accused of stealing copper wiring

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Harrisburg Police arrested a Carrier Mills man accused of stealing copper wiring from an abandoned house Monday morning.

Neighbors reported a man pulling out wiring from a house at 324 E. Walnut St., according to Sgt. Todd Cavender.

Police found Tony Herman Brown, 53, 880 Taborn Road, Carrier Mills, at the scene along with copper wiring in a bucket behind the house and with pliers that contained particles of wire insulation in its teeth, Cavender said.

Police arrested Brown 11:30 a.m. Jan. 25 on charges of burglary, possession of burglary tools and theft under $300. He remains held at the Saline County Detention Center awaiting a court appearance.
