"Cigars and Guitars Under the Stars" Set May 17 at Rustle Hill Winery

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Rustle Hill Winery and the Fowler-Bonan Foundation are teaming up for an outdoor evening of fun featuring Yesteryear Tobacconists and music by Breeden, Bradley and Maze, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. May 17. Doors will open at 6 p.m.

"Cigars and Guitars under the Stars," a brainchild of Rustle Hill Winery's events coordinator Teri Hammond, is one of two fundraisers for the Fowler-Bonan Foundation planned at the winery this year.

"I helped the Foundation some this past year, in Union County, with their Clothes for Kids program," Hammond said. "I was able to experience firsthand how they help children in need. I wanted to add a second benefit for them this year, and we have a unique night of fun planned for May 17."

Yesteryear Tobacconists, located on the strip in Carbondale, will be on hand. They feature pipes and pipe tobaccos, over 325 handmade cigars, imported cigarettes and hand-rolling cigarette tobaccos.

In addition to wines, Rustle Hill will be featuring single malt scotches, plus private-label distilled spirits from O'Fallon Distillery. Drink specials, plus food from the Rustle Hill Winery kitchen, will be available.

Kevin Breeden, Jimmy Bradley and Dennis Maze of Vienna will be performing beginning at 7 p.m. The specialize in acoustic and folk rock.

A small silent auction is being planned and donations for auction items are presently being accepted. In lieu of admission, donations for Fowler-Bonan will be accepted at the door.

The Winery also announced that Cache River Band will headline their third annual "Pick of the Vine" event September 9, with proceeds from that event also to be awarded to Fowler-Bonan.

Rustle Hill Winery is located at 8595 US Route 51 North in Cobden.

The Fowler-Bonan Foundation, based in Harrisburg and formed by Dale Fowler of Harrisburg and Bill Bonan II of Benton, provides free new clothing and shoes for underprivileged children in Southern Illinois, based on a referral system from area school administrators.
