Annual Saline County 4-H Rally coming March 2

Mark your calendars now and plan to attend the Annual Saline County 4-H Rally from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, March 2, 2020 at the Eldorado Elementary Gym. All youth in the county and their families are invited to attend.

This is a Find-Out Party for our Saline County 4-H program. If you have ever wondered just what 4-H members do, how much fun they have, what skills they learn while preparing and exhibiting projects, what really happens at the Fair, come to the rally to find out! Our 4-H members and leaders will be glad to answer your questions.

County 4-H Clubs will have booths set up with games to play and food to buy. Food items for sale will include: Caramel Apples and Bananas, Popcorn, Hot Dogs, Pizza, Crazy Walking Tacos, Giant Pretzels, and Baked Goods. In addition, thirsty Rally guests can purchase Water, Sodas and Lemonade.

You can help someone in or out of the 4-H Jail or play a fun carnival game, including Bean Bag Toss, Pig Race, Plinko, Basketball Shoot-out, Laser Tag, Cake Walk, Laser Hunting.

This year, our Saline County 4-H Rally community service project will benefit Feeding My Sheep Ministries, which recently opened a new food pantry in Eldorado. The pantry, located in the First United Methodist Church in Eldorado, is open the third Saturday of each month from noon to 3 p.m.

Feeding My Sheep Ministries staff are grateful for the donation of any nonperishable food item. Please bring what you can to the Saline County 4-H Rally. Thank you in advance for your generosity.

University of Illinois Extension provides equal opportunities in programs and employment. If you need a reasonable accommodation to participate, please call 618-252-8391. Early requests are strongly encouraged to allow sufficient time for meeting your access needs.

See you at the 4-H Rally!
