Chester Public Library events

Enjoy these upcoming activities at the Chester Public Library, 733 State St. (618) 826-3711.

Movie Night: 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 20. "A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood," the story of Fred Rogers, is rated PG. Free popcorn provided. Registration for this event is appreciated.</h3>

Presidential Marriages and Romances: Feb. 25. Tom Emery, a freelance writer and historical researcher from Carlinville, brings us this entertaining look at the marriages, romances and love lives of the presidents. The lives of famous Presidents will be covered, but Emery will also emphasize some of the lesser-known Presidents. White House weddings will be covered, as will the lives of Presidents behind the scenes. Reserved seats are available.</h3>
