The following information was obtained from the Du Quoin Police Department, covering the dates of Jan. 10-16. Note that arrests and charges are allegations only, not findings of guilt.
Friday, Jan. 10

Saturday, Jan. 11
• At 1:41 p.m., a 16-year-old boy from Du Quoin was cited with a community ordinance violation of Theft Under $300, and with underage consumption of alcohol.
Sunday, Jan. 12
• At 3:36 a.m., Dylan S. Thornton, 18, of Carbondale was arrested, and charged with leaving the scene of an accident, failure to reduce speed, failure to wear a seat belt and illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Tuesday, Jan. 14
• At 10:21 p.m., Ellen M. Miller, 50, of Du Quoin, was stopped and charged with driving while license suspended, having expired vehicle registration and registration suspended for no insurance.
Wednesday, Jan. 15
• At 3:35 a.m., Christopher L. Crow, 23, of DeSoto, was stopped and cited with operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
• At 3:15 p.m., Dorothy M. Gancheff, 58, of Du Quoin, was cited with fighting, as a community ordinance violation.
• At 9:28 p.m., Robin A. Boyster, 38, of Du Quoin, was arrested on a Jackson County warrant charging possession of drug paraphernalia.
• At 10:26 p.m., Cory L. Kramer, 36, of Decatur, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and on a Perry County warrant charging burglary.
Thursday, Jan. 16
• At 7:21 p.m., Jake H. Compton, 22, of Ava, was cited with having an expired vehicle registration.
• At 10:58 p.m., Jaden H. Anheuser, 19, of Pinckneyville, was pulled over and cited with improper use of an electronic communication device and with operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
• At 11:23 p.m., Jacob L. Lipe, 25, of Du Quoin, was arrested and charged with threatening a public official and resisting a peace officer.
