The wedding planners

MARION - Karen Boulds of Eldorado owns and operates Epic Snap Photo Booth and was among the 50 plus vendors appearing at River Radio's 2020 Ever After Bridal Fair Sunday at The Pavilion of The City of Marion.

Now in its 22nd year, the popular event attracts brides to be from throughout southern Illinois who turn out by the hundreds to learn the latest options for planning their weddings, honeymoons and related events.

Boulds said "This is such a great show! It's our first time to participate. We provide photo booths for weddings and parties of all kinds. We have numerous props to dress people up in. It's such a fun thing and people are great at spreading the word about what we offer."

Bride to be Lexi Hacker of Sesser checked out Bould's photo booth and had her photo snapped with her family and friends who came to the bridal fair with her. Hacker seemed to enjoy the idea of such a festive option to a wedding.

The five-hour bridal fair offers future brides and their families to talk directly with all manner of businesses catering to the wedding industry, most of which businesses are here in southern Illinois.

Kasey Bean of Carterville was spotted sampling the tasty wraps at the Southern Comfort Food booth. That business is located in Grand Chain.

Bean said that she was very interested in finding a videographer for her September wedding with her fiance Justin Cox.

Her maid of honor, Sara Gwaltney of West Frankfort was there with her "To help and I'm going be honest with her. We've been pals for 10 years so I can do that."
