60th annual Thresherman show opens with parade
The annual American Thresherman Association Show going on now at the Perry County Fairgrounds, opened the traditional way Wednesday evening, with a tractor parade. The festival goes through Sunday.
The show celebrate 100 years of farming history with demonstrations, old-fashioned contests, tractor pulls, live music, children's activities and more. Today's highlight is the ITPA Tractor Pull starting at 7 p.m. in the grandstand. Admission is $10; $5 for ages 6-12 (under 5 is free).
