New digital services allow library users to log in from home

MARION - If you hold a library card for Marion's Carnegie Library, you can access new digital services without leaving home.

According to Coordinator of Library Services Sarah Watkins, the new service has something for everyone.

In addition to the e-book and audiobook service, CloudLibrary patrons can remotely log onto three new additional services.

RBdigital offers access to over 60 digital magazine subscriptions as well as exclusive e-books and audiobooks. Users can download the app on a smart device or visit marioncarnegieil.rbdigital.com to start browsing.

MyHeritage Library Edition is one of the largest, most internationally diverse genealogy databases of its kind. Users can easily search over nine billion historical records, entering through the library's website.

Beanstack is a virtual reading log. It allows users to record books through a smart device or computer. User can scan ISBN numbers or search for books that have been completed.

All of the services are free for library card holders. To log on, user will need their 14-digit card number and 4-digit PIN.

For more information about these services, contact the library at (618) 993-5935. Follow Marion Carnegie Library on Facebook for information on events and updates for library services.
