Three sentencings announced in Perry County

PINCKNEYVILLE - Perry County State's Attorney David H. Searby, Jr., announced the following sentences to the Illinois Department of Corrections during the month of June:

Kyle R. Davis, 35, of Pinckneyville, was sentenced after having pleaded guilty on June 6 to the offenses of Possession of Methamphetamine, a Class 3 felony, and Unlawful Failure to Register as a Sex Offender, a Class 2 Felony. Davis was sentenced to three years in the Illinois Department of Corrections (with applicable credit for time previously served and to run concurrent with a sentence in Randolph County) with a two-year mandatory supervised release period. The Du Quoin Police Department, with assistance from the Perry County Sheriff's Office, was responsible for the investigation and arrest.

Patrick S. Gwinn, 28, of Pinckneyville, was sentenced June 20 after having admitted to a probation violation for the original offense of Possession of Controlled Substance, a Class 4 felony. Gwinn was sentenced to one year in the Illinois Department of Corrections (with applicable credit for time previously served) with a one-year mandatory supervised release period. The Du Quoin Police Department was responsible for the original investigation and arrest.

Curtis G. Hull, 43, of Centralia, was sentenced after having pleaded guilty June 26 to the offense of Retail Theft, a Class 3 felony.

Hull was sentenced to two years and six months in the Illinois Department of Corrections (with applicable credit given and to run concurrent with a sentence in Marion County) with a one-year mandatory supervised release period. The Du Quoin Police Department was responsible for the investigation and arrest.
