Du Quoin man sought in Jefferson Co. car chase

JEFFERSON COUNTY - A 25-year-old Du Quoin man - Davon McLorn - is on the run from a variety of charges the result of a weekend chase, according to Jefferson County Sheriff's Department authorities.

McLorn is said to have fled from deputies Saturday on Illinois 148. As a result of the chase, McLorn eventually crashed the vehicle he was driving on property near East Knob Street in Waltonville.

The Sheriff's Department is asking anyone who knows McLorn's whereabouts to please contact Jefferson County Crimestoppers at 618-242-8477. Do not attempt to appproaach the suspect. McLorn is also wanted in Williamson County on unrelated charges.
