Zack Street Plumbing sponsors Wildcat Free Throw Contest, donates for senior class trip

CARRIER MILLS - Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School held its annual Wildcat Free Throw Contest sponsored by Zack Street Plumbing on Dec. 4.

As CMSF High School students entered DeWitt Gymnasium, they signed up for the free throw contest.

Three students were selected from each class, with 12 total students participating in the contest. If the students missed their free throw, they earned $100. If they made their free throw, they earned $100 and advanced to the Championship Round. Two students, junior David Leiter and senior Taylin VanDyke, made their free throw. Taylin VanDyke then went on to sink another free throw and win an additional $250.

After the event, Zack Street then made an announcement for all of the seniors in attendance. Twenty-six seniors have been working towards taking a senior trip together in May. Zack Street Plumbing wanted to assist them with their goal, and Street handed the senior class a check for an additional $10,000 for their trip.

The Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School would like to thank Zack Street of Zack Street Plumbing for hosting the Wildcat Free Throw Contest and the entire senior class would like to thank Mr. Street for his kind donation towards their senior trip.
