River-to-River Trail Society announces its final fall hike

SOUTHERN ILLINOIS - The River-to-River Trail Society announces its ninth and final guided hike of the Fall 2018 hiking season, on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018.

This will be a hike of about four miles, from Knights of the Golden Circle to High Knob Road, by way of Buzzard's Roost, Rhombus Rock, Whiskey Cave, and Rice Hollow.

Boots or sturdy shoes, a second pair of dry socks, and hiking sticks are highly recommended.

Hikers should bring their own water and a snack. No dogs, please.
