In honor of service Harrisburg Middle School eighth grade hosts veterans lunch

HARRISBURG - On Tuesday, the Harrisburg Middle School class hosted lunch for area veterans as a way of saying "thank you" for their service to the country.

Eighth grade teacher Phil Nyberg said it was a chance for students to connect with veterans and hear their stories.

"It's a way for our eighth graders to show their appreciation for our veterans," Nyberg said.

The dinner was hosted at the Harrisburg Town and Country Lions building on South Main Street in Harrisburg.
