Expand your arts horizons with 'Lingering' at Artspace 304
Carbondale Community Arts will host "Lingering," at 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 21 - the first entry in the Community Without Bounds Performative Art Series to be held at Artspace 304, 304 W. Walnut St.
The artists are Haley Gaertner, Elyse Hickey and Dorothy Evans. Their performances focus on themes of femininity and lasting touch, both physical and emotional.
The show will be interactive and the audience is encouraged to participate via the artist's instructions.
"Lingering" is a night of performance art that features emerging local artists. Each artist will perform an original performance piece for 30 minutes with a short intermission in between each piece.
This series is free and open to the public, come engage with nontraditional mediums and an experiential art form.
