BETA Club induction held at PCHS

PINCKNEYVILLE - Fifteen new members were inducted into the Pinckneyville Community High School BETA Club on Tuesday, Sept. 11 in the Auxiliary Gym. They join the 21 returning members of the club whose national organization indicates achievement, character, and leadership as its defining characteristics.

BETA Club members must earn a 3.75 grade-point average to be eligible, and the service-oriented group at PCHS is known for its annual sponsorship of two Red Cross blood drives, Christmas Cares contribution, and participation in the Kristin Cunningham Trivia Night for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society among other projects.

New members are: Lynlee Lindner, Railyn Bardle, Aubrey Bruns, Olivia Buza, Sydney Francis, Lauren Jackson, Mary Gail Johnson, Devin Kitchen, Kailey Lacy, Mercedes Moll, Lillian Runyon, Miranda Skorch, Martina Skorch, Grant Tanner, and Kayla Valentine.

Returning members include: President Megan Breslin, Vice-President Keely Epplin, Secretary Alexis Hirsch, Treasurer Kiya Hagene, Emilee Baker, Sarah Breslin, Kelly Buschschulte, Noah Conner, Hannah Dascotte, Kyla Epplin, Caleb Geary, Dylan Houghland, Ashley Kellerman, Draeden Kreger, Graci McDaniel, Consuela Moll, Dejah Rheinecker, Haylee Robinson, Seldyn Starkweather, Hallie Waggoner, and Taylor Witges.

Co-sponsors are Katie Smith and Heather Wilkin.
