Eldorado Garden Study Club recognizes bicentennial

EQUALITY - On Aug. 16, members of the Eldorado Garden Study Club honored their husbands and guests with a delicious meal at the Red Onion Restaurant in Equality.

The club's theme for the year is "Honoring our Heritage", and was carried out with table decorations of antiques, plants and more, also serving to remind us of the 200th birthday of Illinois.

In line with that theme, the group was entertained by Teresa Pankey (Mama T) with a medley of patriotic songs. The Eldorado club is affiliated with the National Garden Clubs and the Garden Clubs of Illinois.
