Randolph County Sheriff and Sparta police reports
The following information was obtained from the agencies named below. Note that arrests and charges are allegations only, not findings of guilt.
RANDOLPH COUNTY SHERIFF
David A. Berthold, 19, of Sparta, was arrested April 29 by Randolph County Sheriff's office for resisting a peace officer, unlawful consumption of alcohol and disorderly conduct. He was released after posting $150 cash bond.
Crystal L. Williams, 30, of Sparta, was arrested April 30 by Sparta Police for theft and criminal trespass to land. Bond amount is $1,500.
Jacob A. Stuckemeyer, 33, of Carbondale, was arrested April 30 by Chester Police for DUI, driving while license revoked, disobeying no passing zone, disregarding stop sign, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, expired registration and illegal transportation of alcohol. Bond amount is $3,000.
Raymond R. Zepeda, 20, of Chester, was arrested May 1 by Randolph County Sheriff's Office for violation of sex offender registration.
Olivia J. Lambert, 21, homeless, was arrested May 2 by Randolph County Sheriff's Office for violation of bail bond.
Bryan K. Colson, 22, of Carbondale, was arrested May 1 by Chester Police for speeding and driving while license suspended. Released after posting $150 cash bond.
Gary E. Schultz, 34, of Willisville, was arrested May 3 by Randolph County Sheriff's Office on a Randolph County warrant for forgery and a Perry County warrant for unlawful possession of methamphetamine. Bond amount is $37,500.
David G. Maynard, 38, of Sparta, was arrested May 4 by Sparta Police for driving while license revoked, operating uninsured motor vehicle, failure to signal and fleeing or attempting to elude police.
Daniel J. Doyle, 45, of Sparta, was arrested May 5 by Sparta Police for aggravated battery with a firearm. Released after posting $7,500 cash bond.
Katey J. Doyle, 19, of Sparta, was arrested May 5 by Sparta Police for obstructing justice and possession of firearm without a FOID card. Released after posting $1,000 cash bond.
Evan R. Dotson, 23, of Tilden, was arrested May 5 by Randolph County Sheriff's Office on a Randolph County warrant for failure to appear in court on a disorderly conduct charge. Released after posting $300 cash bond.
Rachel D. Mullins, 51, of Sparta, was arrested May 6 by Sparta Police on a Randolph County warrant for failure to appear on a criminal damage to property charge. Bond amount is $2,000.
Craig W. Johnson, 25, of Steeleville, was arrested May 6 by Steeleville Police for DUI, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and operating uninsured motor vehicle. He as released after posting $100 cash bond plus driver's license.
Cortez L. Gleghorn, 35, homeless, was arrested May 6 by Sparta Police for domestic battery.
Nicholas M. Heffernan, 18, of Chester, was arrested May 6 by Chester Police for criminal sexual assault.
Gaspar J. Lopez, 39, of Chester, was arrested May 7 by Steeleville Police for operating uninsured motor vehicle and no valid driver's license. Bond amount is $1,500.
SPARTA POLICE
Brooklynn C Fajardo, 18, of Sparta, was arrested April 26 for criminal damage to property. She was given notice to appear in Sparta City Court.
Valeene R Wilson, 23, of Marissa, was arrested May 6 for Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was given notice to appear in Sparta City Court.
