Henson guest speaker at Eldorado Rotary; McKinnies recognized

ELDORADO - Eldorado Rotary heard from Ferrell Hospital nurse practitioner Wes Henson at the group's weekly meeting Tuesday at Dad's B-B-Q.

Henson, a well-known Gallatin County native, spoke about his background and education in health care and some of the services he provides at Ferrell Hospital. He sees patients of all ages in his practice.

Henson is Ferrell Hospital's newest nurse practitioner.

In addition, Eldorado Fire Chief Mike McKinnies was recognized as Rotary's Citizen of the Week by the club.

McKinnies brought a photo to the meeting from 1993 featuring what was then the city's newest fire truck. He noted that current Rotary President Caleigh Bruce was present in the photo as a young girl. McKinnies' son Derek McKinnies also was in the photo.
