SALINE COUNTY -- The Saline County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for help after a local church was burglarized Monday.

According to Saline County Chief Deputy Ken Clore, Little Chapel Church, located along Illinois 34 North about four miles north of Harrisburg, was burglarized early in the morning Monday.

Clore said several offices were ransacked, and a few items were taken, along with some cash.

The sheriff's office has submitted images from surveillance cameras at the church depicting an individual believed to be responsible.

Anyone who may recognize the individual is asked to contact the sheriff's office at (618) 252-8661.
