HARDIN COUNTY -- Jeff Humm of Hardin County has recently finished his third and final book entitled "The Humm Family Vo. III - An Addendum with Portraits from the Past."

Humm says this new book uncovers mysteries which lie in his 2011 publication "The Humm Family" Vol. II.

The new addendum is laced with fantastic photos, never before seen, which brings to life this 450-year biographical history of German families to Southern Illinois, St. Louis, and Evansville.

"The Humm Family" Vo. III expands the history of families found in Humm's last book and ties together all the branches of this family tree throughout the U.S. and Germany.

Some of the families included in this book are Volkert, Humm, Herrmann, Shetler, Kriegshauser, Reif, Siener, Ziegler, Eichorn, Zimmer, Hamp, Layoff, Rotes, Wintz, Weis, Bangert, Grein, Neel, Hale, Hildenbrand, Eckmans, Siedler, McCable, Nord, Woerz, Schlosser and others.

Humm said Volume II and Volume II go together as a matching two-volume set and the new book completes the story. He is accepting orders for the new book and may be contacted at (618) 285-6674.
