Pinckneyville Chamber cuts two ribbons in July

The Pinckneyville Chamber of Commerce has hosted two ribbon cuttings during the month of July.

The first ribbon cutting was held July 1 at The Twisted Vine, a new wine bar located at 10 N. Walnut St. The wine bar offers wine, beer, soda, tea, lemonade and fun! They also have live music on the patio every Saturday and Sunday.

"We welcome our patrons to bring their own snacks or order from Joe's Pizza and Pasta and enjoy 10 percent off of deliveries made to The Twisted Vine" owner Leigh Blackorby says.

Summer hours are noon to 8 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays, noon to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and noon to 8 p.m. Sundays. You can follow The Twisted Vine on Facebook to learn about their specials, bands and other announcements or call 618-357-4141.

The second ribbon cutting was held July 15 at Mann's Sporting Goods, located at 515 W. Water St. Mann's was purchased by Janet Ashby and her family. They will continue to sell guns and ammo and operate as a warranty station for Remington guns.

The crew at Mann's has been busy making upgrades to the 45-year-old business and will start bringing in a wider variety of Red Wing work boots, Under Armour and Yeti items. As if that weren't enough, they are also an authorized drop-off location for UPS while offering UPS services. You can stop by and see all of the updates from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays to Fridays and 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays. They are also available to answer any of your questions at 618-357-2911.
