Dean Borcky and his mother, Helen, braved cold temperatures and nasty weather last week for the season's first Benton Farmers Market. Borcky and his mother, who is 80, showcase home-baked goods. 'We've been here too many years to count,' Borcky said. About a half-dozen vendors braved the weather, and according to Borcky, the gamble paid off. 'We've had about a hundred customers,' he said.
