Harrisburg band, choir concert Wednesday
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">HARRISBURG – Harrisburg High School's Concert Band, Jazz Band and Concert Choir will perform Wednesday, HHS music director Hannah Drake says.
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">The concert is at 6:30 p.m. at Davenport Gymnasium and is free to the public, she said.
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">The concerts are a chance for all three groups of performing students to showcase a year's worth of hard work, Drake said.
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">In addition, the jazz band will perform at the University of Evansville at 4 p.m. Sunday as part of UE's Jazz Invitational.
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">Drake said she encouraged the public to take advantage of the concerts.
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in;">"The kids have put a lot of hard work into their performances, and I think most everybody will enjoy it," she said.
