Two of the state's newest legislators in Springfield are planning to co-host a town hall forum next weekend in Carbondale.
State Sen. Dale Fowler, R-Harrisburg; and State Sen. Paul Schimpf, R-Waterloo plan to hold the event for constituents from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 1 at the Carbondale Township Office, located at 216 E. Monroe St.
Free coffee and donuts will be provided to constituents who attend, and the Senators will be taking questions from the audience on a variety of state issues.

Fowler's 59th District covers all or part of Franklin, Hamilton, Williamson, Saline, Gallatin, Jackson, Union, Johnson, Pope, Hardin, Alexander, Pulaski and Massac counties. Schimpf's 58th District covers all or part of Perry, Jackson, Union Jefferson, Randolph, St. Clair and Monroe counties.
